“We’re going on a bear hunt.
We’re going to catch a big one.
What a beautiful day!
We’re not scared…”
— Michael Rosen, We’re Going On a Bear Hunt
We’re Going On A Bear Hunt The Film: Live in Concert
Almost every child would’ve heard these infamous lines from one of Michael Rosen’s most popular children’s picture books, ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’. Little Man and Little Miss have been avid fans of the bear hunt since they’ve been tiny. I still remember the time when we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Michael Rosen himself at Stratford Library for a book-reading and book-signing event alongside author, Chris Riddell.
Now avid families can take their experience of this book or TV short film to the next level by heading over to London’s Regent Hall on Saturday 5th November 2022. There are several showings on the day to watch ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’ The Film: Live in Concert.

Why this show is a must-see for all families..
Get immersed in the sound of a full live orchestra whilst you watch! A LIVE 40-piece orchestra comprised of Army musicians have agreed to volunteer their time and talent to perform the musical score alongside the animated film on the big screen, together with a fun presented intro and interactive singalongs to George Ezra’s lovely catchy theme song ‘Me & You’.
If you have young children who are yet to experience a live concert, this show will be a great introduction to this. The performance is scheduled to last around 45 minutes (without intervals), which is long enough for any child less than 10 years old in my opinion! Any longer and you’ll find they won’t be able to keep their bums on seats! Trust me… that’s words from experience!
As the orchestra is accompanying visuals of the animated film, you can be sure that this will be a real treat for the kids and it’ll be unlikely that they will be bored. Also, all of the profits from the performances will be donated to the Royal British Legion (RBL) in light of the Remembrance Day period.
The performances will be held at Regent Hall, which is just off Oxford Street and a very short walk from Oxford Circus tube/underground station. If you’re not London-based, you will find that Oxford Circus is easily accessible from all major tube, rail, bus stations. If Oxford Circus underground station is too busy, try coming via Bond Street, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road stations, or Charing Cross railway station which are within walking distance.
