I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m really feeling these winter chills this year! As the days get darker, all I want to do is curl up in bed with a heavy fur throw, a hot chocolate and a good book.
It was a couple weeks ago was when I first felt the cold settle in. We live in a new build flat so pretty much it’s always warm but lately it’s been feeling really cold! I’ve definitely stocked up on my fair share of knit jumpers and joggers and fluffy throws and socks to keep me warm.

I was kindly sent a sample of these super fluffy handmade slippers from Onaie to test at home and boy, did they not disappoint! They looked so lovely online and even better in person. A word of warning though, if you are in between sizes definitely size up. I’m a size UK 3.5/EUR 36 and the slippers were really snug! After a few long wears they’ve given way a little and feel better now but the tips of my toes would’ve definitely been happier if I’d sized up.
Regardless, it was so nice to get something so practical at just the right time! Little Miss wants to get a pair and I can see that these would make a great Christmas gift for friends and families.
The Onaie slippers come in a simple brown box with wrapping paper which is standard. It also comes with a little note about the brand so you can get to know more about them and the materials used by a person.

The Quality
Since starting this post, I’ve had a chance to wear my Onaie slippers for about two weeks and they are still as fluffy as the first day. Result! I think the wool inner sole keeps my feet nice and warm whilst the fur on the sides keeps the heat in.
The natural fur is super fluffy and holds its shape well. The leather is soft and looks like good quality, but with all leather, only time will tell how good it is. The inner sole wool is super warm and a greyish colour that matches the outer sole of the shoe. I’m not too keen on the outer sole material as I’m so used to a rubber sole and thought it’d have no chance on laminate flooring but it seems to be doing fine. The slippers are hand-stitched really well, and well-made to a good quality.

The Fit
Definitely on the snug side so I would highly suggest to size up. I’ve noticed that one of my foot is bigger than the other so I have no issues sliding one foot in but my other foot is a bit of a struggle. I’m a UK 3.5 so it would’ve been better to get the size UK 4 instead. However, I’m not going to complain too much because the snug fit is not overbearing and still feels comfy to wear.
The company also has a kids and baby’s range too! They are currently selling these ADORABLE felt slippers (see photo below) which are the cutest thing ever! Lined with the fluffiest

I’m not going to be writing a Christmas blog list this year because I’ve started working full-time and it’s been really difficult juggling motherhood, working from home, completing an apprenticeship and blogging. So to save my sanity and my energy, it’s going to be a quite one from me but there will be more posts to come in the new year so watch this space!
In the meantime, I’m definitely going to be adding these slippers onto my Christmas wishlist – the red fur looks super stylish and the kids’ slippers are simply adorable!
